39 Images from 2012

39 images I was happy to capture in 2012…in chronological order. Most are wildlife, but not all.  Some you may have seen before, some not. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy them. I know I enjoyed the process.

January – Lamar Canyon wolves, lead by 832F (the 06 wolf) cross the Lamar Valley – Yellowstone National Park.
January – Bighorn ram overlooking the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone – Yellowstone National park.
January – Bull bison in the Lamar Valley – Yellowstone National Park.
January – Agate pack female wolf in the Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park.
February – Andrea Williams and her dog, Elodi, compete in the Barkie Birkie skijoring competition at the 39th annual American Birkebeiner – Hayward, Wisconsin.
February – Bob Baldwin of Park City, Utah, shows his relief as he crosses the finish line at the 50 kilometer American Birkebeiner Nordic ski competition – Hayward, Wisconsin.
March – Northern Saw Whet Owl (Aegolius acadicus) – St. Paul, Minnesota.
March – Northern shovelers in breeding plumage – Wabasha, Minnesota.
March – Drake ring-necked duck in flight – Wabasha, Minnesota.
March – Immature bald eagle with largemouth bass – Wabasha, Minnesota.

April –  A double banded sharp-tailed grouse displaying – Minong, Wisconsin.

September –  A rutting bull elk attacks a car – Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming.

Let’s hope 2013 is as rewarding as 2012.
